Our products are bought as seen, the material is natural not manufactured and each piece of stone is unique. Therefore some caution must be given:

 

CAUTION

Some pieces of stone can fracture. DO NOT sit or apply heavy weight to any marble tables, treat it as you would a glass table. Studio Holm reinforce their large marble tables to help prevent any major accidents or damage, however this is only in place to take the impact in the event of a stone fracture. Although we safeguard the strength, we cannot guarantee it.

   Marble Furniture Care Do:

• •     Apply a marble sealant (every one to two years)

  •     Blot up spills immediately (even if it is only water)

  •     Clean surfaces with warm water or marble cleaner

  •     Buff-dry surfaces using a cotton cloth or a chamois

  •     Put coasters under all drinks

  •     Use protective pads under heavy pieces to protect soft wood flooring

 

Marble Furniture Care – Do Not:

• • Use acidic cleaners (vinegar, lemon spray)

  •     Apply abrasive cleaners, powders, or creams

  •     Use the surface as a worktop for home repair jobs

  •     Sit, stand, or place heavy weight on a marble table top
